Procurement of event materials (Canopies, chairs, table, Etc) for the community

Procuring event materials such as canopies, chairs, tables, and other essential items for the Akyem Manso community will greatly enhance the organization and success of local events. These materials will be invaluable during funerals, weddings, festivals, and other community gatherings, providing the necessary infrastructure to host large groups of people comfortably and efficiently. For funerals, having access to canopies and seating ensures that mourners are sheltered from the elements and can pay their respects in a dignified setting. During weddings and festivals, these materials create a more festive and organized atmosphere, allowing everyone to participate and enjoy the celebrations without logistical concerns. Overall, these resources will strengthen the community's ability to come together during important cultural and social events, fostering unity and shared experiences.

COVID Support

AMDU provided essential resources, including PPE and hygiene supplies, to help the Akyem Manso community combat the spread of COVID-19. This support was crucial in protecting vulnerable populations and ensuring community health.

The health centre was connected to the main water pipeline, ensuring a consistent supply of clean water AMDU also repaired a faulty standby generator, securing a reliable power source for the health centre

Motorbike and a tablet

AMDU provided the health centre with a motorbike and a tablet. The motorbike facilitates health workers in reaching remote catchment communities, while the tablet supports data collection and communication during these outreach efforts.

Computer Room Renovation and Equipment:

AMDU renovated and equipped the computer room at the local secondary school, providing students with access to modern technology and enhancing their learning opportunities in the digital age.

Dining Hall Renovation

AMDU funded the renovation of the secondary school's dining hall, creating a better environment for students to enjoy their meals, which contributes to their overall well-being.
